Welcome

Welcome

Dear Rush Residents,

Welcome to our town's website.    We hope during the summer season you will find ways to enjoy and participate in our many community activities, take walks on our public trails, and enjoy visits to our parks and museums.  Please check the News Tab for special articles on local and regional events.

A special thank you to all the volunteers who are helping to beautify our town and support our community including:   the Rush Recreation and Park Association, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and all the residents who actively participated the CleanUp Activities in April; the many volunteers who are caring for our town's gardens; the Rush Lions and Rotary Clubs for their ongoing activities to improve our community.

Of special importance is our ongoing Comprehensive Plan Update! This effort is all about seeking your input regarding what you would like to see for the future in the Town of Rush. Please participate in the upcoming public workshops and town-wide survey. The public workshops will be held on Zoom and the link to join will be available at RushComprehensivePlan.com. Folks without Zoom access can view and participate in the meeting at the Rush Town Hall. The workshop schedule is as follows:
Sep 21:  Energy and Infrastructure
Oct 5:   Traffic and Transportation (Including bicycle and pedestrian)
Oct 19:  Parks, Trails, and Recreation
Nov 16:  Land Use and Conservation

Internet access is a problem for some areas of our community.  Please take a few minutes and participate in the County's survey on access to the internet. For more information, read the news story here    The survey is available at alchemer.com

We encourage you to sign up for E-news to obtain updates.  Check out our Business Directory; our HOW DO I menu selections; and our  Accessibility feature (click on person in upper right corner)  that allows you to change the size of type and contrast.

Your opinion matters!  We welcome your ideas to improve services and supports in our community.   Thank you.
