Rush Seniors    The Town of Rush has a group of very active Seniors, 55 and older, who meet on a regular basis and plan activities throughout the year. A least one trip is planned for each month of the year. Some are day trips while others may be for two or three days. Buses are provided as well as overnight accommodations when necessary. Trip prices are kept to a minimum.

Meetings are held at noon on the 2nd Thursday of each month (unless there is a conflict with a special event) at:
Rush Firehouse, 1971 Rush Mendon Rd., Rush, NY    (Click for Map)
Each meeting is normally centered around a "Pot Luck Dinner" where each member brings his/her own dishes and silverware as well as a dish to pass.

Membership The Rush Senior Citizens welcomes new members. Membership is open to any resident or taxpayer in the town of Rush. The membership fee is $10.00 a year, and members must meet the following requirements:
1. Be at least 55 years of age
2. Don't want to just sit around the house

If you meet these requirements and are interested in having fun with some great friends, come join the Rush Seniors.  Contact the Rush Recreation Office at (585) 533-2340 for more information.
